Retail Store Concept for United Group
As part of a collaboration with United Group, the project focused on designing a new retail store concept that redefined the customer experience in telecom retail. The goal was to create a space that is warm, engaging, adaptive, comfortable, sustainable, and digitally integrated. The material palette—oak hardwood furniture with a matte finish, concrete-like surfaces on floors and walls, and black matte wall panels—established a refined and inviting atmosphere.
A key aspect of the design was adaptability. Counters and display elements were developed to accommodate varying product quantities and store layouts across different locations and countries. The retail spaces followed a strict hierarchy of functionality, ensuring that the spatial design effectively communicated the company’s core offerings. Interactive elements allowed customers to engage with products while focusing primarily on telecom services.
Prior to designing the first retail experiance, firsthand experience working at Telemach retail stores provided valuable insights into customer behaviour and sales dynamics. This knowledge shaped an improved consumer experience, which was later applied across multiple formats, including retail stores, selling booths, and pop-up shops. Additionally, various spatial branding projects were integrated into existing Telemach retail spaces over time, reinforcing the company’s identity within the evolving retail landscape.
Project implemented in: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Austria, Germany and Greece.
